The intervention aims at architecturally and energetically upgrading the building, succeeding with the extension to create two independent residential units.
A combined air-water heat pump and mechanical ventilation system was chosen as the heating and cooling system, powered by a photovoltaic system installed on the roof. The entire building was also seismically adapted.
